Is it possible to control a mac mini with the 9600 for start up and switching. The Core Duo mini I have has a remote control.

Thanks

I use a 9600 to control a mac mini. You can use the 9600 for anything the mac remote can do.

Sure. I use a shareware program (preference panel) called Mira by Twisted Melon to control various programs and switching on my Mac Pro. [Link: twistedmelon.com]

I just taught the 9600 the 6 buttons of the Apple remote and customized the Mira preference panel to suite my needs. Now I can launch VLC, Frontrow, Firefox, etc... and control all the transport functions from the 9600. It works great!
