Hello,
I have an Airworks ceiling fan (Model RAC52BR1LT) with remote control (Model as-3dn) working well since more than 12 years. Since some days, the lights of the ceiling fan always stay on. I can't turn off the lights with the remote control (there is no manual switch on ceiling fan) while I can run and stop the fan without problem with this same remote. Is it the remote or the receiver the problem?
If it's the remote, can I buy an Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control Replacement Kit for Hampton Bay, Hunter, Harbor Breeze, Westinghouse sell on Amazon since it looks very identical?
If it's the receiver, must I buy a kit remote/receiver for my ceiling fan to work?
I specify than the manufacturer is not in buiseness anymore and than the IR tester software doesn't work with this kind of remote control.
Thank you!

Buy the kit and you will have an extra remote if it is not the remote. Seems like a no brainer to me.

Thank you Lyndel McGee! I just did it there are some weeks and it was the receiver that was working poorly. Now the ceiling fan is working good and I have an extra remote. :)
