Hi All,

I am a new member of the community here, and I see there is a lot of useful threads with regards to remote controls, codes and programming.

I am having trouble finding the code set for a TEC RC-626, a remote commander for VRDS-9.
After I bought 5 different remotes, all TEACs, and two PHILIPS universal remotes, one SR-9400 and one PRONTO.

Despite all my attempts to find a code that works with the VRDS-9, I could not locate a solution.

Can somebody please help with the code?

Thanks!
Radko

You don't mention the model of Pronto you have, but if it's a "classic" (i.e. one of these: TS-1000, TSU2000, RU940, TSU6000, RU970, Marantz RC5000, RC5000i, RC5200, RC9200, Onkyo CHAD and Yamaha RAV-2000) have you tried the codes for the VRDS-25X or VRDS-T1?

Hello!

Sorry for the extremely delayed reply!

And thanks for the question!

The remote I have is PHILIPS SBC RU940/00

I found here the codes for VRDS-T1 and VRDS-25

They are uploaded onto the remote.

However, no, they are not the right ones for the VRDS-9.

I am also looking for the codes off the TEAC RC-342, which commands the TEAC P-500 transport.

If you can help me with guidance or info, I will be grateful.

Thanks again!

Regards,

Radko

Other than trying the codes here I'm afraid the only other thing I can suggest is keeping an eye on ebay, or the like.
