Dead batteries or stuck button? Put in new batteries, jiggle all the buttons, hold Setup for 2 blinks then 981. You'll have to reprogram the TV code.

anyone here own a comcast dvr/stb motorola dcx3400?? the remote is a bit flakey and doesnt always respond to the remote IR. i have the same problem with the logitech harmony ultimate using the motorola's IR signals. its very frustrating and i'm wondering if anyone is experiencing the same problem as me.

It probably isn't the remote.  Once in a while I have had to disconnect the power cord from the box for a couple of minutes in order to restore response to the remote.  Eventually I replaced the box.
