Hallo at first, i'm new here
I want to buy a PDA that a can use as a remote and as a normal PDA for work so my favourite idea to use a Proto is away
But i need some help or faqs for the PDA
What features must a PDA have to can be used as a remote, i read something about a special IR sensor that not every PDA had
can somebody help me what PDAs are useable i wanted a color display and the remote must only send IR about 4-5 meters (sony ,denon,nokia; receivers,TV,Sat and DVD )
my actually favourites is a HP ipaq are they good to use as a remote

my advice is a dell axim x3i i have tried it with total remote and it works up to about 10m without the little dongal thing it is a great pda and i would recommend it to anyone
