I recently got a ipaq 2210 as a remote can someone explain to me what a ccf file is.I downloaded pdawin 5.5 voice activated version , the device selection in this program is very limited.I only found my panasonic tv and sony vcr in there.How am i supposed to control my other devices , eg dvd , amp , set top box etc? Im sorry if this is a dumb question but i am having quite a bit of trouble with this.What am i doing wrong.

Check out the files section of this site (Pronto & ProntoPro). It will give you a pretty good idea of just how far you can go with a CCF file. As for your devices, again check the files, but you can always learn the commands directly from your original remotes.
Have fun. It looks hard to begin with but you soon get the hang of it.

A ccf is the extension of a Pronto configuration file. The Pronto is a touch screen remote developed by Philips. You can edit and create ccf files using prontoedit or tonto
