I've been reading various posts and thought I'd add my experience with the IPaq 2215. I purchased it as a birtday gift for my "non-techie" husband. I've successfully programed it with NEVO to work with the following: Sharp TV Sony Direct TV receiver Yamaha HT receiver Sony 300 disk cd player GE vcr The IR range is OK, but it could be better. The NEVO tech support was very quick to respond when I needed the exact codes for some of the equipment. I just with there was a way to turn on the HTPC with it. Just thought I'd add my 2cents. Cheers, Kyle

There probably is, but not with NEVO
You could start with WiFi from the iPAQ, home Wireless network, Girder. Netremote etc etc....and end up with no life at all....never time to use the HTPC due to the time spent in working on the remote control side of it....
A long stick for the power button, and a bluetooth mouse and keyboard ;))
