If you can answer yes to the question, would it be possible to either post it here, to a server somewhere, or e-mail it to me directly.

Does not matter what devices you have on it, just want to be able to examine hex code on a know working ccf file. Also version of TV remote Controller software you are using and what PDA it is on.

Also any info on how you got the codes in to the ccf file, IE learned through the iPAQ, from original, learned through the iPAQ from Universal remote, transfered from existing ccf file, downloaded from another ccf posted on one of these forums, etc etc.

Cheers

Neil

You should be able to find a lot of these files in the files section on this site.

I you'd like to take a look at mine, feel free. I think you can search by Author. ( Jay Forbes ).

I've been using this file with PDAWin for about a year or so. I've used 5.2 --> 5.4. All commands were 'learned' from the various OEM remotes.

Regards. Jay.

I'll have a look at yours, but there is no file section for PDAwin, and doing a search under PDA Win does not bring yours up, had to search under your name for it.

Searching under TV Remote Controller brings up yours and one other with no connection to PDAWin or TV Remote Controller

The only other way to find PDA Win ccf files would be to go through the entire archive manually and look, or put up a post. Or am I missing some link or other to PDA Win files.

It is encouraging to find someone that has actually managed to get PDAWins program to do anything,
I was wondering if anyone had actually managed to use it sucessfully,

Have downloaded yours

Cheers

Neil

Yeah, I'm sorry, your're right. I'd forgotten that there is no separate section for PDA CCF files. You'd have to search through all the Pronto Pro files one at a time to find them.

I'm glad you were able to find it using my name.

I am quite happy with my PDA based remote. Let me know if you have some questions. My CCF file changes every time I get a new piece of equipment, or anytime, on a whim. :)

Good luck, Neil, and cheers back at you. Jay.

Glad you said that regarding PDA file section etc, thought it was just me being dumb..

Have been having problems with learning codes (Ver5.5 on iPAQ 5450) With Grundig remote, that works fine, learns the codes fine and you can see them in the hex window back on the PC. Yet they fail entirely to work. have started creating raw code for the grundig tv using a macro and Make Hex. Not as easy as just learning the codes, but it will give me a full set....eventually.

Also TV remote Controller seems to fail on repeat keys, but I believe this is a known issue.

Cheers for the help

Neil
