I have a PYE TV that uses Nevo device codes (Pye device1)0037 and (Pye device 3)0556. I do not have an original remote to learn codes from, so can not learn the codes to TV remote controller and then view the IR.
If I want to create a set of codes in Make Hex, or one of the other IR utilities, I need to know the protocols etc. Anyone know where I can find these for these device types?

can you get a cheapo universal and use the built-in codes then learn these into the NEVO?

I tried that, but could not get any of the TV codes on the universal to work. For a couple of nights ago tried teh VCR codes, and found an set that work. Learned them into the PDA Win TV remote, and ran them through decodeCCF. It came up with what I had been told somewhere else that the codes were a combination of RC5 0 and 5.
I have since tried 16 RC5 device types, and all 128 function codes per device, but still can't find the codes that I require, those of tuning the TV.
It could be tuned once and for all very soon with a very large axe!!!
