I also have just got myself an iPAQ (5450) and also have evaluation version.

The problem is this. If I learn codes from a Maxview 2in1 universal remote to PDAWin, the codes work fine off the PDA. If I then learn the exact same functions off the original Grundig remote (which works fine)onto PDAwin the functions do not work from the PDA? So why should the original learned codes NOT work when codes learned off the Universal work fine ?

I have put the ccf file at:

I also have a load of kit (TV's VCR's Amp etc) with no remotes. (Girlfriend left with Pronto Pro and all the good Kit!) I want to start creating and learning codes for that lot as soon as I am happy with the functioning of PDA Win

Cheers

My guess is the Grundig's out of juice: put fresh batteries and the learning will probably do fine.

Could be that, will try when I get home,

BUT, if I read the ccf file and examine the learned codes from the grundig, it shows codes have been learned, and they look almost identical. And the Grundig controller DOES control the TV.

I tried learning a few codes from the Sky box controller, and that gave the same result, learned codes not operating the skybox, while the original sky remote works fine.

I thought it may have been a unregistered issue, so I paid up to PDAWin, but still no joy.

No is not the batteries,

have put new ones in Sky remote and grundig,

The iPAQ still learns the remote codes from the original remote (that works fine on the TV) but can not reply the learned codes and make the TV do anything. The codes are there, PDAWin bleeps when the button is pressed, and I can see them when viewing the ccf file.

The View IR database tool in Tonto shows the exact same wavefrom. I have put the ccf file in a temp folder at:

[Link: hades.itl.net]

if anyone has the time to take a peek for me.

I get the same response if I learn the codes in to my own ccf file or if I learn using the inbuilt PDAWin interface.

On the subject of the in built interface, how does one remove a device once it has been created?
