I noticed Dell have updated their website (UK) with the new Axim X3 PDA. It looks a pretty cool spec, one of the advertised features being "consumer IR" but no mention of Nevo.

Just wondered if anyone can shed any light on it? Anyone actually got one of these yet?? Are they any good???

I have the X3i (the one with integrated WiFi). It is an excellent little unit, and very light/compact compared to the X5.

I tested the IR as far as I could back up in my apartment (about 20 feet), and it worked great with PDAwin. Much better than the X5's measly 3-5 feet with stock IR port.

However, I'm still planning to keep my X5 with PDA-ir for remote purposes. And use the X3i as my daily PDA.
