Hello,

I'm about to get a new computer and I often play DVDs and music (iTunes) on my PC. I can't help but think how great it would be to have a remote that could control volume - and maybe even pause, rewind, and other neat features - without my being seated in front of the computer.

Nothing fancy is needed, and I don't want a TV tuner. Can anyone suggest any type or specific remote that would meet my needs?

these remotes are build for PCs and have everything needed for a PC

the benefit of RF is that it is less tricky (i.e. no need to point) but you are stuck with the remote and if you ever connect the PC to other devicese you are stuck with more then one remote

the benefit of IR is that they use standard IR, so that eventually if you go more HTPC and connect the PC to a TV, receiver..... you could integrate stuff and only have one remote
