Gaddafi’s London Pad: Rent it for $15K Per Week

Home provides a potential getaway for Gaddafi’s son should he be exiled.

Troubled Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has been all over the headlines recently, and the U.S. and several other countries have begun freezing the family's assets.

Gaddafi's substantial wealth is comprised of expensive homes. His son, Saif al-Islam, recently put his Hampstead, London, home up for rent at more than $15,000 a week.



The eight bedroom home features a sound system, home theater with two rows of seating and an indoor pool.

Several real estate websites put the value of the home at $17.5 million. Those interested in a long-term rental may want to look elsewhere. Reports say Gaddafi might be holding onto the home should he need to leave Libya.
