CE Companies Hurt Most by Ultimate Electronics' Liquidation

Several manufacturers and distributors got nailed when Ultimate Electronics declared bankruptcy. Here's a list of the vendors that stand to lose millions.

Ultimate Electronics Chapter 11 bankruptcy and subsequent liquidation has a ripple effect throughout the industry.

Many consumer electronics vendors were hit badly with huge sums of money owed to them as the company prepares to close 46 stores.

The bankruptcy documents detail how much money some of the top suppliers in the CE space stand to lose because of the liquidation.



For example, Sony stands to lose $4.7 million and Monster $2.37 million, according to the bankruptcy documents.

Ultimate Electronics' total debt is listed in the $100 million-$500-million range.
