Go back to the 80s in a Hot Tub Time Machine; plus rock out to all the new music out this week.Wouldn’t we all love to go back in time? Especially to a cool cat era like the 1980s?
John Cusack starred in enough mid-to-late 80s films to be a natural parody of himself in Hot Tub Time Machine, in which hilarity ensues when a group of guys get sucked back into the high-flying decade.
This week’s Blu-ray releases are more prominent for all of the great music-based titles, but hey, the 80s had an interesting soundtrack to them as well so it may be worth your time to invest in this comedy.
Moving on to all of that music, there’s quite an assortment this week. You can revisit a rock legend with the Classic Album series’ Black Sabbath: Paranoid (we’re hoping this will kickstart a trend of transferring this excellent series to Blu-ray).

Hot Tub Time MachineThree buddies are looking to recapture a little of their youthful glory by returning to the ski resort where they used to party. After a crazy night of drinking in the hot tub, they realize that they’ve been transported back to the 80s and into the bodies of their younger selves.
PredatorIn the remote jungle of a Central American country, an elite group of commandos led by Major Dutch Schaeffer, embarks on a CIA mission to clear out a guerrilla stronghold and rescue the remaining hostages. However, the hunters become the hunted when a highly intelligent, otherworldly being slowly and methodically starts killing off members of Dutch’s team.
