If you're a gamer, then you should be very familiar with the following seven titles, which are the must-have games of 2009.

While "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" and "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" are atop the list, titles such as "Batman Arkham Asylum" and "New Super Mario Brothers" also are very popular.

We've rounded up the seven-must have games of 2009, including games for PS3, Xbox, Nintendo Wii, and PC. Did your favorite game make the list?



Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox)
The first Modern Warfare, which came out in November 2007, is still enjoying heavy play online. Early looks at the unreleased sequel have exposed some real controversy surrounding its single player campaign, including fighting in a war-torn Washington DC in one segment and killing civilians in another.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3)
In Uncharted 2 you play as Nathan Drake, modern day treasure hunter currently searching for Marco Polo’s lost fleet. This game has it all: combat, platforming, puzzle solving, a solid multiplayer component, and a femme fatale voiced by Claudia Black. It’s also one of the best looking games you’ll see this year.
