Top 10 Blu-ray Releases of the Week

Harry Potter, Lost and some great movie collections arrive on Blu-ray.

This week’s Blu-ray releases are all about Harry Potter, Lost, and movie collections from some of our favorite stars.

ABC’s hit show Lost arrives on Blu-ray in two versions today: "Lost: The Complete Fifth Season" and "Lost: The Complete Seasons 1-5." I’ve never really gotten into this show, but these two releases are a great way for “Losties” to catch up before the start of final season in 2010.




The Governator is back in The Arnold Schwarzenegger Collection, a three-disc set that consists of "Commando," "Predator," and "The Terminator."

Not to be out done, The Ben Stiller Collection features "There’s Something About Mary," "Night at the Museum," and "DodgeBall."

Here are our Top 10 Blu-ray Releases of the Week.

UFC: Ultimate 100 Greatest Fights
"UFC: Ultimate 100 Greatest Fights" knocks its way onto Blu-ray with a transfer that combines both standard definition 4:3 and high definition 1.78:1-imagery, each a reflection of the original broadcast aspect ratio that accompanied each individual fight. As the fights are not in a chronological order but rather listed in terms of popularity as voted by UFC’s fans.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Emboldened by the return of Lord Voldemort, the Death Eaters are wreaking havoc in both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that new dangers may lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching.
