looked for a thread on this topic found none. sorry if there are a million of them.
what is the oldest remote you still use ?
have one that's now 25 years old. it's for my Pioneer VSX-9500S a/v receiver bought in 1989. it still works and very happy with it. some of the best $$ ever spent on electronics.

I used the pioneer learning remotes for 12 years, from the vsx-d1s and vsa-1000. Still have both, volume does work any longer on them. But they were retired when I got third DSS receiver in the late 90's. These are in prefect working order: All from the 1980's.

Oldest remote STILL in use? Probably a MX-700 for me. Although I have plenty older that COULD be used. About the oldest still useful remote would be the GE universal in the far left of Edmund's photo. [Link: remotecentral.com]
