is there any way to decode the HEX code from a remote and "see" the code some kind of "USB receiver" and a program that records or captures the code so i can use it?
im trying to control everything i can from a PSP so far i got 2 TVs to turn on, but i need more DISCREET HEX codes can someone explain why is the name and whats the difference between a regular HEX code that has no more than 5 digits an 1 x...
please it will be highly appreciated it

this is not a duplicated post...I GOT THE 1ST HALF OF THIS POST ANSWERED ON ANOTHER QUESTION ON THIS FORUM,
Mainly i need to know if theres a USB device to read the IR code from remotes... or mayube this:
i have a MEDIA CENTER REMOTE made by INLAND, i realized if i point any remote to it and press a button the LED blinks (meaning it recieves the IR code from those foreign remotes) but it just dismisses the iformation obiously... so how can i use this USB receiver to READ the codes? any suggestions?
