I was reading a while back that it may be possible to use prodigy devices with other control processors. Upgrading from a PMC2 and wanted to see if anyone had success using a PAMP-4x100 with a PRO2?

Pretty sure it's only 3 series processors that can do this.

I had the same issue/question the other day. Not sure about a 2 series but you can control prodigy equipment with a 3 series. You need to ensure that the processor has the latest firmware, the prodigy equipment has the most up to date firmware and that your databases are up to date.

I used a PAMP a couple years ago with a MC3 system (before Crestron freed up the restrictions on prodigy vs regular equipment). I just gave the PAMP the same Cresnet ID and programmed Simpl for a C2N-AMP4X100. Worked perfect. Not sure on a PRO2, but I think as long as the Cresnet IDs are the same it should work. Have done the same with Prodigy Mnet gateways too in Simpl.
