I work on a college campus, our theater room has been having issues lately. Intermitently while a laptop or mac is plugged in, the projector quits diplaying and shows only static. It seems to be fine, I'm assuming its somewhere in the control system. We were using a switch, and removed it at the System Integrators suggestion, however the problem persists. The rack consists of: Crestron: Transmitter DM-TX-300 DVPHD CP2E C2N-DAP8
Panasonic: Blu-ray/VCR DMP-BD70V JVC: VCR SRV101US
Panasonic Projector:PT-DZ6700
I'm new to the world of forums and IT Tech Support, If im missing crucial information please let me know, and I will do my best to provide it. Just trying to make life a little better for the professors, students, and my department! Thanks!

1st a Mac is a laptop.
2nd how are you connecting the laptops? VGA, HDMI, DisplayPort?
From the equipment list you are eventually transmitting HDMI to the projector (DM-XX denotes this) I would try to go HDMI direct out of your laptop to the transmitter see what happens. the static could be an HDMI drop out/issue.
