For any body who cares, at last the root of my problems
with the MX300 's seems to have been found. The dealer
has now informed me that he has had several cases where
the charge indicator says the battery is charged but it's
not really. So you can have a bad battery and not know
it. He's sent me a new one and so far so good; it works
fine. Strange that he didn't try another battery when
I sent him back the first "failed" unit. But I'm glad
the problem seems to be solved. If this turns out not
to be the case, I'll let you all know.
In the meantime, thanks for all the help. Much appreciated.

Wondering if a battery problem may be my issue.... My remote seems to have a ghost in it... At odd time, the MX3000 simply wakes up and a couple of the buttons get pushed... Specifically, I have the MX 3000 controlling the lights in my master bedroom... At 4AM, my wife woke up to find the lights on.... She turned them off via the MX 3000.... A couple of minutes later, the MX 3000 woke up and Scence 4 on the light menu indicated that it was pushed and the lights came back on... Nobody touched it.... Now, I would like to believe in the ghost theory, however, I am a reasonable man and am wondering if it could be a battery issue that is screwing up the program... I reset the remote back to factory defaults and re-downloaded the program.... It still happened.... (BTW, the program had been working fine for more than a year and a half prior to this... ) Thoughts?
