I have an AWOL projector.
It has a remote, which emits IR but I am unable to teach those codes to my URC mx 780, using CCP.
I used an IR code decoder for the back button on the Awol remote.
The result is , for the Return key:
Sys: 00CE
Data: 5C
Format: 6122

This is the information I got from AWOL

Can someone please help me and give me HEX codes, which I can use in my CCP for the following IR buttons?

Key No.Key DefinitionIR Key value(HEX) NEC Protocol, system code:0x00CE

1Power toggle1A
2Power on1D system code:0x00CD
3Power off1C system code:0x00CD

Can someone please help generate the three hex codes for the above 3 buttons - power toggle, power on and power off?
I would like to incorporate these HEX codes into my ccp software.
thanks

You can use IrScrutinizer. Best to install it yourself ([Link: github.com]) but here you go:

1Power toggle1A, system 0x00ce

Thanks a LOT Barf!
I tried it but it did not work. Not sure why not.. but thanks anyway for trying to help .
I do know how to use the universal browser in CCP software to program the IR code.. I have done it woth other hex codes in the past. I dont know why it is not working this time.
Thanks for trying to help. This is not really that important. So, its fine.

That's odd. You might want to try what's posted in this thread (Post 180) =
[Link: remotecentral.com]

I can verify that the program is the commercial version of CCP. Which is the same as the regular just with different icons. I do not know about the file swapping and if it works or not. No one has commented on it yet.
Without a working version of CCP, you're kind of dead in the water. This should at least let you program your existing remote. If you can get the updated files to work as well, you could get a newer remote and program as well if you wanted.

Hi Brad. I appreciate you sending the ccp file with the codes. The ccp file I have is from about 10+ years ago, given to me by a dealer and is the original (1st gen) version. Updating it to latest version would be easy enough, because I already have the login credentials. How ever, I dont want to do so for various reasons. I never know when URC would give trouble again. Also, the updated version takes a very long time to down load. I am pretty happy with using the original 1st gen ccp software. The discrete IR codes for the AWOL would have been useful to me but not critical enough for me to update the CCO software.
Also, I was hoping that the Hex codes from Barf in the preceding would have worked. I havent figured out why they didnt work. The original data/codes were given to me by AWOL.
Thanks again, for trying to help and sending me the CCP file.
