Good afternoon. I am trying to stumble my way through CCP to program my MX-990 to work with my MRFB-600M-URC-LA RF dimmer switches but am not having any luck. I guess my first question should be are they compatible? I think they are... Secondly, there are dozens of URC files listed in the lighting section for URC and even more for Lutron. Any guidance of suggestions (other than trial and error through all the codes)?
Thanks!

the B in the MRFB-600 means that it works with the 433MHz version of the MX990.you either need the MRFA or you need an MX990i remote.

So then, would a Lutron Universal RF Wall Switch MRFA-S6AM-URC-WH work with myMX-990?
Thank you for the response!

yes, the A models work on the 418MHz that your remote works on.

Okay, so I have the switches (and they are installed) but I cannot get the remote to talk to them. I have tried all of the Universal Remote control variations and the Universal Remote Control* option as well. I even tried the Lutron setting but nothing is working. I am a novice at this but seem to recall that I go to the "data section (3) and select the appropriate URC setting, then save and download to the remote. Am I missing something?

the maul was helpful getting the switches reset and clearing all the codes. I was able to get the switches to blink when commanded from the remote but cannot get the lights to change state (on or off)???

For what it's worth, I have been running the wall dimmers, wall swiched, and tabletop dimmers on MX1200, MX890, MX990, and MX6000 with no issues. The only oddity I have found is that when in the database, I had to choose the "UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROL *" vendor entry, and not "Universal Remote Control" (iirc). But once done, all worked fine. The *only* thing kicking my butt at the moment is trying to add a KP900 . . . It works for everything else, but I just can't get lighting to go.
Oh, and be sure to set the lighting devices to "RF" when you configure the remote!
