I have everything set up as I want it, but am having trouble with one basic step.
All my commands are programmed and when I test the IR Data dialog box, everything works fine. When I try to test the same features from the Macro Programming Window, nothing works. Same thing when I download to the remote . . . none of the buttons work.
What basic concept am I missing??
Second, I have several discreet codes in HEX that I need to load into the MX-3000. Where should these HEX codes go in the editor?

The hex codes get setup in the pronto program the imported the the univeral browser.

I'm not following you. I downloaded a Prontoedit program and put the hex code on one of the hard buttons. Am I supposed to make an exportable file from Pronto to put into the Universal MX-3000?

The "Universal Browser" is part of the MX Editor application. It is used to import learned IR codes from other file formats such as CCF, MXF, and RCC files. As such, you need to save the CCF file in ProntoEdit, then opening said CCF with the Universal Browser in the MX Editor.

Makes sense. Which version of ProntoEdit should I be using? I found ProntoEdit NG version 3.1.3. It does not seem to support .ccf files. Is there another version I should be using?
I still need some direction on the first issue which is why is it that when I test IR codes from the IR Data dialog box they work fine, but when testing the macros with the same function from the Macro Programming Window do not work. Similarly, none of the functions work when I download the .ccf file to the remote.
I'm sure that I'm nissing something very simple, I just can't see it.
