My buddy has an MX6000 and I've programmed all of the devices for 2 different locations (Family Room and Patio),using CCP software. He wants to use just the one remote and move it as required. I've screwed around with this thing for hours and I just can't figure out how to create a "Home" page with two options that will let him select either "Patio" or "Family Room", then have the remote change to the appropriate "Main/Page1" screen for the selected location. The "Family Room" will be IR and the "Patio" will be RF using and MRF-260. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it very much.

I've done this with a MX-5000. I set up a device/page that is my location page. It links to the Family room/Living Room pages. Access back to the main location page is made via a button marked Room in the upper right corner of the screen. It's simple to do, I just marked all my pages as hidden and then control navigation with links.

Room Main Page: Screen buttons link to Living room & Family room main pages.
Left/Main/Right buttons go nowhere.

Living room main page:
Activities buttons (macros/linked to device pages)
Room button - linked to main Room page
Left/Main/Right hard buttons - linked to LR devices (main goes nowhere).

Family Room main Page: Same setup as Living room main page.

To further educe any possible confusion the themes for different rooms is in different colors.

This strategy will work for as many rooms as you like.
