Can I run two MRF300's connected via the RFIN and RFOUT, and have the ability to hook up 5 antennas. I am working on a project where this could be very helpful. Big house, and the roooms are far away from each other. There will be 5 MX350 remotes. Thanks.

I think you can only hook up one antenna to the "Master" unit. I don't think subsequent antennas will do anything. I could be wrong, as I've never attempted this before.

I believe URC only recommends using 3 antennas at most on a single MRF (probably due to power limitations), but you may be able to use more if you use a seperate power supply for the last two antennas. Remember, these are 5VDC devices and you MUST use a regualted 5VDC supply.
Eric Johnson should be able to verify this.

Hi Mike,
You can hook up more than one RFX unit. However, you are using MX-350 Osiris remotes. These do not offer the low noise, narrow band transmission that the MX-900 and above do. Thus, you have to use multiple RFX-150 receivers. Each RFX-150 will add more to the noise floor. In a clean RF environment, you might be able to add five, using outboard supplies as Eric Bruecker suggests. However in a dirty environment, you might not be successful.
In a big house like this, I would recommend upgrading the client to more expensive remotes and RF receivers. My choice would be MX-900s and MRF350s with outboard RFX-250s. This is far more likely to work well.
Best Regards,
-Eric

The client also has Wireless internet, will eventually have a sonos system, has interior Invisible Fence for dogs, and a wireless alarm system. I just found this all out today. I am probably going to stick to IR unless you can recommend something else.
Thanks.

I would recommend MX-900s, two MRF350s and multiple RFX-250s. Far less expensive than putting in an IR repeater system in a house that size. Not to mention the much better user experience. You are headed for trouble trying to put less expensive stuff in this house.

-Eric
