Hey all, The MX-6000 I recently received doesn't seem right in a few areas...

First off the usb cable is really loose and so it will sometimes disconnect itself when connected to the computer. Those who own one does your usb cable insert into your remote Very easily and also really easy to take out? Do you ever lose connection?

Also, last night I downloaded a new/updated program (just added a few devices to it) and there was an area on the screen (towards the right side in the middle) that the remote always thought was being pressed. So whatever screen I was on it would try to process whatever button was in that spot.
The exact spot was where the "System" button is on the setup screen (holding Mute+OK together)

But, I reloaded the program and now it's not doing it.

Should I send the remote in for a replacement or does this sound normal? I hope not for a $1500 remote...

Thanks!

Definitely contact the seller. Your unit is almost certainly defective.

Thanks for your input. I already have an RMA to send it back for an exchange but just wanted to get some input first to make sure before I sent it back.
