I've just got an 880 and I'm having trouble trying to use CCP on my Macbook using bootcamp. From what I've read it seems to work for many without problems but not for me. Whenever I try to upload, download or learn a command CCP crashes. I have tried the latest MS Active Sync with no luck, it won't connect whatever I try. The USB driver is properly installed according to Device Manager. I get the audio alert when connecting or disconnecting the remote but it doesn't show up in the sys tray (I don't know if it should or not)
I know the software is OK as I've installed it on a Win XP laptop and everything works just fine. Any help with this would be really welcome.

Which MS operating system do you have installed in your Bootcamp partition?

Just a note, the MX-880 doesn't use ActiveSync - it only needs the USB driver provided by URC. Same for the KP- and MX-900

I was running XP, But I've just deleted the install and loaded VMware Fusion as I was getting Disk Checker wanting to run on XP startup nearly every time which is a sure bet that there was something wrong with the OS. Unfortunately CCP still crashes like before, but I have seen a number of posts on how to get it running in Fusion so I will have a read and see if I can get it going.
