Hello all...

I've been in the process of programming my new MX900 (I've programmed several of these guys, along with a large number of older URC models successfully for my clients) and everything is well EXCEPT for my blasted Philips 30PW850H TV that only has an annoying AV toggle in its built-in IR code library. I've tried several other Philips code sets in the database and found some discrete power on/off codes from similar models that actually work, along with MOST of the input discretes, but nothing for the "CVI" input that my DVD player is connected to.

Now I know that Philips does publish discretes for their 2002 TV models (which mine is if I recall) in CCF format and there's even a button in their CCF file for the CVI input. The only problem is that they're stored in Pronto condensed RC5 format, which the Universal Browser will not import.

So I guess what I'm looking for is a "Learned IR" hex code for the CVI input or perhaps a way to convert the RC5 code to something the URC editor software understands. I know that I can use the "AV3" discrete and just toggle to CVI (which is the next input in the toggle sequence) if all else fails, but being the obsessive programmer I am, I rather not if I could.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Nick
