the version of CCP that is on my laptop is 1.4.034.1217 the last update it did using 'live update' was probably a month or two ago.
if i click on 'live update' now it displays 'this program was already updated'.
looking on URC Control Room CCP is listed as a 199Mb program and that IT was last updated on 20th Jan 2010.
what's going on here?

That's the same version I have as well. Wonder what version you would end up with if you just downloaded a fresh copy?

The standalone installation file is not updated anywhere as frequently as the copy on the live update server. Perhaps they only felt it was stable enough now to warrant updating said installation file.
