Ok, I have never done this before so I am looking for a little help.

I have a customer that has a single URC lutron light switch in his theater. He has a MX900 that he wants to control his switch with.

I have never used this type of switch before and the URC tech support was somewhat helpful but not completely.

Tech support emailed me the commands for the switch and said that all I needed to do was copy the commands to the buttons and I was done. Then he hurried me off the phone before I could ask any futher questions. I turned to this forum while on site and saw that maybe I needed to create a phantom RF receiver for the lighting. I did and set the ID to "0". No dice...

All I can get the switch to do is when I press off the top light on the switch goes out, the bottom light on the switch flashes and the top light on the switch comes back on. No change in the lighting.

What can I be missing? I know someone is going to say to go to the training and I agree, but I am not the boss so I don't make that call. Any help would be appreciated.

Chances are the MX900 is an older serial#, so you'll need to get the code from the URC Control Room. Do you have access?

I don't but tech support emailed me the codes.

How old is an old serial number? This remote is maybe 3 months old.

In the battery compartment, there are a series of #'s under the barcode (actually 2 sets of #'s). What's the first set of #'s?

Built After 1/31/08: MX-3000, MX-900
Otherwise you'll need to drag the codes in.
