I'm thinking about upgrading my laptop from XP to Windows 7. I currently have a couple of 900s, an 880 and a 980 in my arsenal, and I want to make sure that I won't have any problems programming them if I upgrade to the new OS. Thus far, I have been using mostly the stand-alone editors to do my programming, but I have no problem using the CCP exclusively if it will work better with Windows 7. Is there any advice you can give me, or is there anything I should be aware of before making the switch? Thanks!

You shouldn't have any problems.

Both the standalone editors and the CCP work in Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit.

In order to get updates from the standalone editors you will need to right-click on them and select "run as administrator"

You will also need to download and install "Windows Mobile Device Center" from Microsoft for the mx-980.
