My home theater system was custom installed and included the MX-900 and MSC-350. It had been working perfectly fine, controlling a Denon receiver, PS3 (using the Nyko USB IR receiver), FIOS stb, and VCR without any trouble.

Two days ago, RF controlled devices began to respond intermittenly to remote commands. I noticed the red lights on the IR/RF convertors were steady as though commands were being sent out (which wasn't the case at time), some were flashing for no reason.

I haven't been able to figure out why this is occuring. Any thoughts?

sounds like you have some RF interference. i would suggest moving the RF head around so the red indicator light is not lit. It has also helped in the past to remove the antenna. good luck!

Thanks. I disconnected the RF head/antenna, moved it elsewhere, and changed the direction of the antenna. The commands seem to be received better. Thanks.

I've seen where the RF light stays on due to interference and only cycling the power will "reset" it.
All high's, all low's, it must be.......

The RFID setting on the actual base station has nothing to do with the RFX250 responding to RF. If the remote is putting out RF the activity/status light on the RFX250 antenna will blink with button pushes.

I say that either RF is turned off on the remote (Everything set to IR), or the remote is failing to send out RF
