Hi all,

Noob Q time.

I have read about the PSX-1 ([Link: universalremote.com] and PSX-2 ([Link: universalremote.com]) from URC website and I can't for the life of me figure out what are the difference between these 2 models?

Are they completely for 2 seperate applications (if so, what are they?), or is the PSX-2 just an updated/more powerful version of the PSX-1?

Thanks in advance.

The PSX-1 will output metadata only to a MX5000/MX6000. Essentially, this model has been discontinued.

The PSX-2 will output medadata to MX5000/MX6000 and any display device via component video, so it can also be used with any IR learning remote control.
