The last 5 out of 8 systems have had some miserable RF problems (some 250's, others 300's). The sniffer is erratic so evidently it is related to RF.. but-
On one system the emitter wouldn't talk to the Sci Atlantic cable box but to all other devices. On another the same cable box worked fine but the Yamaha DVD-S659 would not work at all. On still another the entire system came and went.
I'm pretty well seasoned at this point if you've read my other threads. Nearly all of the 150+ RF based 850's I've designed have had no re-accurring problems (luckily).
What gives? I did restart my computer (Dell D620 w/internal serial port) and redownloaded and got one system to work flawlessly last week, even though the sniffer would lightly blink occasionally.
IR works flawlessly before RF is setup - check Blaster Off - check RF Only - check Moved around basestation/antenna - check Plug the wallwart directly into the wall - check Stand on one leg while rubbing my tummy and pressing buttons - haven't tried this Route/designate emitters - check Remove Antenna - check Swapped emitters even though they blinked fine - check Unplugged various equipment to pin down RF problem - check Called Tech support (last ditch effort) - check Cursed and threatened equipment - check Removed portions of hair from scalp - unnessary, it senses the dilemma and does this by itself. Kinda like what feathers do when a bird hits your car. Rescheduled several appointments to return with a miracle - working on this
This is not just a 20 minute TS.
Bluetooth doesn't affect it does it?
