FINAL UPDATE: Now it's all working swell. I have no idea why it is now finding signal, even back in the original location, or how long it will last. Technology, oy! Thanks for the views...

Read on if you like, but I'm fine now... Cheers.

=======================================

Newbie Alert, but I still need your help!!

Set up the MRF-260 (paired w/ MX-810). Initial testing was fine - sniffing at "0" showed receipt of signal at base. Then, I began the RF Settings in the MX-810 ProWizard. Did some things right, some things wrong, but finally figured it out (ID #s, lines, etc.).

Got to putting flashers on system (didn't affix, TG!)... nothing worked after that - that is, no Status blinks. I fussed again with the wheel (1, 3, 7, F), changed plug ins (2 to 1, 3 to 4, etc.), fussed with the PC Wizard (renamed default, changed lines, etc.).

Finally, put everything back to the beginning. However, still NO status signal at base. Even on sniffing, nothing. I didn't move the base at all.

UPDATE 29 MINUTES LATER: Moved the base to living room where no electronics. Status blinks began again. Now what do I do?? Thanks, Guyster
