My Denon 4308CI has 4 or 5 device files for extended functions, iPod, internet, and multi-room operation.

Do I....

Keep one Denon Receiver device and cut and paste the buttons I need from the other Denons and then just delet those "extra" denon devices?? - might be too many buttons for the screens.

Keep all of them and somehow switch between them (Denon is ON and Denon ZOne 2 is On)

If you are trying to do second zone operations or other more complicated functions the MX-810 would not be my first choice. I'd go with the 900 or 980 for the added flexibility of doing custom programming. The 810's wizard wasn't set up for second zone systems. For the IPOD and internet you can probably make activities for those with the 810. I'd use the universal browser to bring in the functions you need.
