I have a MX-980 that I am using to control three comcast cable boxes. I have set up six pages of favorite channels with Icons. Macros take me to the correct channel. A macro line looks like ALIAS (Cable1/2) this is cable box 1 and button 2. Is there a way to copy all six of the favorite pages to another cable box, and have the ALIAS change to Cable 2. Or do I need to enter all the macros over again for each cable box.
THANKS

you can copy/paste pages, copy paste buttons, import macros or create 3 identical devices via (create 1 and copy/paste to 2 others and rename accordingly) ... obviously you're going to have to use IR routing via an RF kit for this to work reliably.

I have done this, and can copy the pages, icons, etc. The question is there an easy way to make the macro change from ALIAS (1/2) to ALIAS (2/2) and then ALIAS (3/2) for the commands for the other two cable boxes. Or do I have to reprogramm the macros for each cable box. This would be somewhat time consumming since I have 48 icons for favorite channels, and each requires three number entries for the correct channel.

Yes you'll have to change the alias the macro references.

you can do it with variable, but it may not be an "Easy" way to change.
