BTW, those with the MX-980 software may notice that the IR database has been rolled back to 1.82. Don't know the reason.

If after a live update you don't see the latest version,
uninstall/reinstall, then try live update again.

I am assuming the "live eupdate" feature is not for us consumers? I purchased my MX-900 from a local authorized reseller who directed me to the URC web page for the software. The software is workign great, but I don't see any live update features.

Thanks.

I can update my mx980 from the communications window and I'm just a consumer, but I don't know about the 900 editor.

The Live Update Software is not the software from URC's page. The dealer must provide it to you directly. Consumers can get it, but it must be via their dealer.

Ask them if they can get you the updatable software, they may send it to you.

AsI posted earlier in the thread, the IR on mine never changed from 1.82 after doing the update. Could never figure out why.

Me to, the editor said "this program was already updated" I've check my update history and the last update shown was on March 18 when it switch to the IR database version 1.83. (It seems the update did'nt worked)

MX-980 Editor Update History Software:

March 18, 2008 Ver 1.00.005
Update - IR DB version 1.83
Universal Browser supports MX-980 and KP-900 files

December 20, 2007 Ver 1.00.003
Increase macro repeats

November 12, 2007 Ver 1.00.002
Product Released
Update - IR DB version 1.82

Obviously I'm not the only one, anyone know why?

Thanks

Jack

The MX-810 Pro wizard software was also updated. At least for my system, the update fixed the Vista SP1 problem.

Hasn't completely fixed my Vista SP1 problem. I have a different error. ProWizard reads my 810 as having 'disconnected' partway through the download.
