I have put a couple phony devices under WATCH to hold discrete codes for the TV and DVD player. The Editor documentation says I can hid the pages so as not to confuse my wife or someone using the remote. Two problems came up. The first is not being able to hide the entire phony device name. Is there a way to do this? the second problem is if I hide ALL the pages under a phony device the first page is still visible. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Don't put them on WATCH Page 1. Put them on a different WATCH page and hide that page (tree view).

OTAHD,

I think I did what you are suggesting. I put a "device" called TVDSCRT. I then used the IR Database Browser to associate that device with Samsung TV Discrete Functions 2006. That puts 5 pages under TVDSCRT. When I select TVDSCRT an right click it does not offer a "hide" option, so I went to each of the 5 pages and
hid them.

Or, perhaps you mean to make TVDSCRT a page under my TV device?

Thanks.

Ed

Put "TVDSCRT" on page 2 or greater of watch. NOT on page 1. On the left sife of the screen (tree view as stated above). Double click on watch so it shows all the pages under it. Right click on page2 and select 'Hide'. It hides the whole page. You can't just hide a device unless your name is all spaces. You can hide any page.

If you only have one page. Then right click 'watch' in the tree view and 'insert page' to add a page. Them move "TVDSCRT" to a page you do not want viewed by everyone with the 'Edit Button' button (can also be found under the program menu if you don't know the button).

Hope this helps.
