Hello - in my version of MX-950 editor, 1.10.105/FW1.37/DB1.80, it lists Denon 3806 but not 3808, and the 3806 is quite different. I don't see anything about a database update, and can't find a newer software version.

Help??

Thanks

You either have the non-updateable software version or have not updated in quite some time (many months). I would guess the former since others, including me, have that device listed.

I definitely have an older version, but it's the only thing available on the URC website. It's really annoying that I can't get a newer version, especially since in addition to missing some newer devices in the database I also have a serious software issue that prevents me from adding more than six devices. How did you all get the update??

Thanks

They are custom installers, or they bought their URC remotes from retailers who offer the liveupdate software. Buy your next URC from Mike at SurfRemotes.com, or sweet-talk a local retailer.

Thanks but since they no longer offer downloadable updates I'll be buying from a different manufacturer for my next remotes.

Rather than being quick to go to another line, have you contacted your place of purchase for assistance? If you purchased from a legitimate source they will be willing to help you out.

I'm interested in hearing more about this restriction you have to adding any more than 6 devices. Send me your file so I can check it out.
