i have the mx-3000 and i just upgraded my receiver today with the denon 3808ci which im loving so far, just trying to get my remote setup for it. everything is almost setup except my main problem right now is the volume button.

it works KIND OF. when i press the volume button it will adjust the receiver volume but only once. i have to keep pressing the button. if i hold the volume button in it still only changes the volume button 1db. yes i have the check box checked for (repeat if held in) or whatever its called.

I have tried learning the ir code with option 1 and 2 learning modes and still the same results.

any ideas???

Thanks

we had this problem yesterday. Uncheck the repeat under the ir code.

im not doubting you, just curious, why would you "uncheck" the repeater under the ir code? Is that just the way that ir code works?

Thanks
