I got everything setup almost perfect, im loving the mx-3000 remote so far compared to my harman kardon universal remote i had previously.

There are a few buttons such as volume on my receiver and the "up" and "down" buttons for my DVR that i would like my remote to perform quicker.

on the factory remotes i can press the buttons as fast as i want and the DVR and receiver will respond just as fast as im pressing the button.

BUT, with the mx-3000 there seems to be a slight delay. example...if i press the volume down button twice really fast it will only adjust the volume down 1 unit instead of 2. So i need it to respond faster. what settings can i play with to adjust this.

I had this same problem with my harman kardon universal as well.
Thanks

How did you get the commands for the DVR into your MX-3000?
Scientific method refers to the body of techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge.

i've programmed the MX-980 and was having the same problem. i dealt with this over a month ago so my memory is a little foggy, and i dont have the program in front of me...

when you are assigning commands form the data base there is a check box to repeat commands. the default is set to 3. either reduce that number or remove the check all together so it doesnt repeat at all.

i can give you more precise instructions in a few hours when i'm
home, if s/one else doesnt have info in the mean time.

cassidycaid...for my dvr I used the ir codes from the preprogrammed database. they didn't have my exact model but i picked something similar and all the ir codes worked just fine.

Stealth X, Thanks I will try that right now and see if that helps.

oh, another quick question too so i don't have to start another thread. when making a macro, such as Watch DVD, does it make a difference if you enter the commands in the 'Alias' column or the 'IR Data' column?

TIA

Stealth X, i changed the default repeat to 1 but there isn't a check box to avoid it all together. I tried entering 0 but it will only let me enter 1 for the lowest number...

hmmmm.....
