I've searched for an answer to my question, but I can't quite determine the answer after reading multiple threads. Is the 810's software updateable (i.e., by the program) or do I have to go to my dealer to get updates? I can't find any update button within the software, and the threads here imply both -- there is updateable software and there's not updateable software (you have to go to the dealer).
Thanks.

The answer I believe is both. Your dealer could have given you the software that can be updated, or not. I don't have the 810, so I'll let someone who does (or a dealer) confirn that. However, if you don't have the yellow sat dish, or the "Live Update" under communications, you don't have the version which can be updated. Note however that you can download the latest "release" (usually not the most current, but mybe more current than what you have) from the URC web site. You just have to register your remote (there on the site - assuming it's not broken like the MX-700 is ).

I don't think that there is a non-updatable version of the MX-810 software yet.
The software updates automatically when you run it.
