I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but can you add an IF-THEN function as it pertains to button-hold-time to the Watch or Listen buttons? I watch SAT TV more than any other source, and thought it would be nice if I hold the Watch button >1 second to go to that source and bypass the Watch screen.

Thanks.

No, WATCH and LISTEN buttons are not programmable on any current remotes.

They are on the MX-980. You enable it under File - User Preference.

Thanks Mike, I'm not the only programmer that can look at a new program to see what it has to offer.

Nice catch Mike, you'd think I would know something like that! Hopefully I can find more time to really get into the 980 again, it's been quite a while since I've opened it. (The new little one takes up a lot of time now!!)

Hey, a baby's an acceptable reason to not be up on remote stuff. ;-)

Glad to hear your daughter's doing well. Hopefully we'll hook up again at CEDIA this year.

I would like to add that the MAIN, PAGE-, and Page+ buttons can be programmed the same way on the MX-3000.

Sad thing is, when I posted that I thought they were not programmable on the 980, I wasn't thinking about my 4 biggest MX-3000 projects to date, they use specially programmed MAIN, and PAGE buttons quite extensively!!

It's always great to see you at CEDIA, I'm sure I'll be there this year as well.

If you have multiple watch or listen pages, It would be nice if you could set the watch/listen buttons to toggle the watch/listen pages rather than watch then switch to page up or down or listen then switch to page up or down,.
