Hi,
Does anyone know if there is any more comprehensive documentation available for the MX-980 than the 14 page "MX980 Editor Programming Tips" that is linked from the software's Help menu?
If not, any news on when something like this would be expected from URC?
It would be quite helpful.

not likely you'll find one. i believe this info is reserved for CI's via private access through URC's website...? you can however find manuals for the mx-3000 and 900 which are very similar. these can be downloaded from the files section here on RC.

Thanks for that info.
I would comment that URC should supply comprehensive documentation to the purchasers of its products, but I don't want to start a whole thread similar to the one about software availability :)

There is no manual (yet) for the MX-980. I would expect that when they start their online instruction for the MX-980 (supposedly later this month), a manual will follow. As mentioned above, using the MX-3000 and MX-950 will get you most of the way there. The IF/THEN and Toggle statements in the macro setup are different from either those two remotes, but similar to that in the MSC-400.
