Anyone know what brand name and device to use for a Slim Devices (now owned by Logitech) SqueezeBox? The Squeeze Box can use JVC DVD remote commands, so perhaps I can use those remote code temporarily, but I'll lose some of the features.

This is my first time with this software, and so far I've set up only the 6 devices for my upstairs system. I note that I cannot go back during this process (eg, and change the Squeezebox to a JVC DVD player).

Thanks for any help.

Shoot! Now, I accidentally hit the left button on the mouse too many times, and I'm stuck at the "type the model number" for my TV. However, I haven't entered in the brand name and the "previous" button is greyed out. Yikes, this software has some bugs!

Is there anyway to import data from a Pronto? I have my Pronto with all buttons for my Proceed AVP and Squeezebox, and can easily upload all of these. Also, my Proceed has tons of info that's not on the remote (though I could use my Pronto remote to have the 810 learn the codes). Anyway, I think this remote will be great, but I'm wondering whether I should've just purchased a different URC remote. I wanted something easy for the wife and her parents to use, so I selected this. However, this remote might be (or at least the software appears to be) too dumbed down for what I'd like to do.

There's lots of discussion in some of the other threads about the 810 software and its quirks. I tried both the 810 and the 980 and kept the 980 because of the programming transparency. You can probably do what you want with the 810--it just won't be as easy as the 980 given the software challenges.
