Has anyone been able to control a system with an MX980 through an MSC400. I tried downloading IR commands to the MSC400 and then generated triggers which I drug to macro window in 980 editor because you cannot import devices into MSC400 from MX980 editor. URC seems to have forgottrn that part.

I have found they work excellent together. By using variables with both the MX-980 and MSC-400 I have been able to set up a file to control three viewing areas with independent volumes. I have also set up DVD graphics (4 DVD's per page) on the MX-980 to control a 400 DVD changer with macros built into the MSC-400. Been having a lot of fun setting it up.

Hope this helps

cheers

I found my problem. You can test a macro in MSC400 without downloading it but you can't test the trigger in the 980 without downloading the macro in the MSC400.

The DVD graphics sound nice. Once I learn more about what I'm doing, I'd like to give that a try.

Thanks
