Anyone have info on the release of the newest 'Consumer Product Line' remote? I read back in August that the R8, a Consumer versioin of the 810 (or 980?), would be released soon after.

I'm in the market for a 2-zone IR remote, and I'm hoping this fits the bill.

There was an R70 planned that would be a consumer version of the the 810, but it's been shelved.

Mike

I just read an article about it in Electronic House (at least I think it was EH).

Shelved?!
That's too bad, I really like my mx-810 and I convinced some relatives to hold
out for the R70. I hope I don't have to send them to a Harmony.
